What is Known About John Tokarz

Born Janush Tokarz on May 16, 1909 in Chicago, Ill, John was the second child of Frank and Sophia Tokarz.

John was described by several siblings as being well loved and liked. He served in the Army for a time and enjoyed making ceramic figurines later in life.

He married Stella Maciulewicz Sept 17, 1949 at St John of God in Chicago and together had two children: Pamila and Marilyn.

John died January 1991 and was cremated and burried on top of his wife in the Ressurection Catholic Cemetary. He is located in Section 47, Lot 655. The headstone only had his wife's name at the time on it, as she preceeded him in death in 1971. The lot also contains Marilyn's remains and Stella's Mother, Scholastica's, remains.
